In-Person Courses
We were the first organisation in the UK to offer a minor illness course for non-doctors. Our seminars are unique in being taught entirely by clinicians who have a wealth of experience in their field, and who also have an extensive, up to date knowledge of the relevant research literature. Our materials are updated monthly to reflect new guidance.
Since 1997 we have been providing high-quality minor illness education which grew from our NHS general practice in Stopsley, Luton. As the national specialists in minor illness, we also produced the standard text, the Minor Illness Manual. We have now written five editions of this book, which has sold over 27,000 copies worldwide. We have taught over 1500 students from the UK and abroad; nurses (from GP practices, A&E, urgent treatment centres, out-of-hours, schools and prisons), health visitors, pharmacists and paramedics. Many more have accessed our e-learning courses.
Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many of them voting it “the best course I have ever been on”. Our courses and books are regularly rated with more than 4.5 out of 5 stars.
